A FABULOUS Day

Well, my first day at Lady's Island Elementary couldn't have been better! The faculty and staff are super friendly, supportive and helpful! Too, I get to teach the 2nd -4th grades, some of my favorites!

The eve of school

On the eve of the first day of school, I think about what was accomplished last year and what a good year it was. I pray that this year will be just as good and just as much gets accomplished. My students are growing up, though I will be losing two more to the middle school next year. Hope that my 5th grader from last year will be OK at his middle school tomorrow. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new school though it is a haul from Bluffton. I think it's going to be an AWESOME year! Here's to my third first day of school in Beaufort County! It's been too long

I know it's been a month ( as of tomorrow that is). Lots of pix to post. Have had a FABULOUS summer; already looking forward to next summer. Since I live on the coast have been to the beach SEVERAL times and will probably continue going at least on the weekends ( mainly Sunday afternoons) until it gets to chilly to go. Lots of fun planned for the fall!
